It can handle spreading bulk salt or 50/50 salt/sand mixes and works with 96in. wide dump bodies. Made of durable carbon steel with a corrosion resistant orange power-coated finish, the spreader features an anti-flow plate and a hydraulic safety lockout system. The spreader is equipped with a 6in. auger with 3/8in. flighting and comes with an auger screen to help break up clumps of material and prevent jams. A three-point hinged bottom cover allows easy access to the entire auger assembly and hassle-free cleaning. The spreader is available in direct drive and 5:1 gearbox configurations. The 18in. poly spinner spreads material 2 to 40ft. Additional customizations, including hard-face flighting and stainless steel spill shields, are available.
